How fast can somebody actually get here?
Emergencies go ahead of routine work and we aim to reach most of Connecticut the same day. When we take the call we will give you a realistic window rather than a hopeful one.
Is my problem urgent enough to call out of hours?
Anything unsafe, insecure or blocking a vehicle you need: a broken spring, a door stuck open, a door off its track, a snapped cable, or storm damage. If you are unsure, ring and describe it and we will tell you honestly whether it can wait.
What should I do in the meantime?
Stop using the door and disconnect the opener if you can reach the release cord safely. Do not try to lift a door with a broken spring or cable — it is heavier than it looks and it can drop. Keep children and cars out from under it.
Is an emergency call-out more expensive?
We will be straight with you about pricing when you call, before anybody is dispatched. You will not get a surprise on the invoice.
What if the part you need is not on the van?
Yes. If the right part is not on the van, we make the door safe and the opening secure the same visit, then come back with the part rather than leaving the property open overnight.
